CO-FOUNDERS
Elaine Jaynes: Before co-founding the Co-Integral Institute, Elaine was Director of Leadership Training and Development and Director of Curriculum for The Coaches Training Institute (CTI). In this role she managed the integrated learning system through which CTI’s 100 plus faculty were selected and trained.
Prior to CTI, Elaine practiced as an Organization Development consultant specializing in the creation and implementation of Management and Leadership Development systems. Before starting her own consulting practice, she set up and managed internal OD and Management Training functions for MCI Telecommunications, AMEX Life Assurance Company (an American Express Company) and Kaiser Permanente Medical Group.
Elaine has a B.A (Interdisciplinary Social Sciences) and M.S. (Industrial/ Organizational Psychology) from San Francisco State University. Besides her CPCC from CTI, Elaine holds an MCC (Master Certified Coach) credential from the ICF and is a regular presenter at both International and European ICF Conferences.
Clive Prout: The founder of Creative Alliance Coaching, Clive is a leadership coach for executives and entrepreneurs wanting to bring an integral approach to their work. In addition, he is a member of CTI’s faculty, leading their Business Development Program. Clive lives in Boulder, CO where he volunteers with Ken Wilber’s Integral Institute in the Integral Business domain.
Before becoming a professional coach in 2001, Clive was responsible for staff development for several hundred staff at Shree Muktananda Ashram (a spiritual retreat site), where he lived and worked for 5 years. Prior to his time in the ashram, Clive’s professional background includes 12 years in sales and marketing management positions within the high technology industry, culminating as Director of Software Marketing with Network Computing Devices.
Clive has an M.A. in Engineering and Business Management from Cambridge University in England. He is an ICF accredited PCC (Professional Certified Coach). In 2004 he was elected to co-presidency of The CALL - a non-profit organization formed by graduates of CTI’s Co-Active Leadership Program to support the growing impact of Co-Active Leadership.
Cherie Beck: Cherie is a core member of the Spiral Dynamics Group and the Center for Human Emergence. She is working closely with Dr. Don Beck to lead these activities in Washington, DC.
As a Founder of the Co-Integral Institute, Cherie continues to pursue the promise of integrating complimentary models, maps, insights that will help us design our future with intentional and informed action. This initiative brings together the breadth of Ken Wilber’s Integral Operating System, the depth and proven applicability of Spiral Dynamics and the skillful means to bring about change offered with Co-Activity.
Cherie’s background includes 17 years in the high technology industry as an executive account manager, where she was responsible for consulting, designing and ongoing management of large scale business computing systems, primarily serving Fortune 500 companies. She has spent a significant portion of the past five years studying, applying and practicing Integral theory in the field of adult development, organizational culture and executive leadership. Ms. Beck is a certified professional Co-Active Coach and a graduate of and assisted for the Co-Active Space leadership program.
Cherie presented Spiral Dynamics integral at the 2004 International Coaching Federation conference and will speak at The Arlington Institutes 2005 conference on Human Development. She was the executive producer of Beautiful Noise, an introduction to Spiral Dynamics and Stratified Democracy. As a mother of teenage son, Cherie finds both an understanding of Spiral Dynamics integral and her Co-Active skills an invaluable combination for parenting. She has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
CURRICULUM DESIGN CONSULTANT
Henry Kimsey-House: A co-founder of The Coaches Training Institute, Henry is the main designer of CTI’s coaching course curriculum, including the leadership program.
In the 1980s, Henry became one of the first professional coaches, with a specialty in coaching artists and actors. In 1992, he turned his creativity to co-founding and co-designing the curriculum for CTI. He is also co-author of the industry best-seller Co-Active Coaching.
Today, Henry continues to develop and refine the CTI coaching curriculum, leveraging his creative insights and experience as an actor.
